dotfiles's Issues
fzf buffer switching
still not happy with buffer/file switching. Would rather jump to split if buffer is already visible in it (rather than switch current split to buffer thus having the buffer open in two splits simultaneously.
fix warnings from bind calls in hpc.bashrc
annoying red highlighting with vim-pandoc
replace NeoBundle with dein in .nvimrc
some air.nvimrc content missing from current .config/nvim/init.vim
e.g.
let g:pandoc#syntax#conceal#use = 1
let g:pandoc#syntax#codeblocks#embeds#langs = ["R=r", "bash=sh", "vim", "python"]
need to check the rest. also coc.nvim completion is not right and is conflicting with copilot
vi-mode breaks arrow up history-search-backward
vi-mode plugin configured in .zshrc breaks history-search-backward shortcut
replace hpc.bashrc ls aliases with .zshrc ls aliases
add zsh ... aliases to hpc.bashrc
git aliases for hpc
add .gemrc
figure out snakemake syntax highighting+
syntax for snakefiles is handled by snakemake/snakemake but md code blocks are handled by vim-pandoc and vim-pandoc-sytax:
let g:pandoc#syntax#codeblocks#embeds#langs = ["R=r", "bash=sh", "vim"]
can't figure out how to handle highlighting of snakefile snippets (but it is not important)
.nanorc and hpc .bashrc
Add syntax highlighting for nano and zsh-style right hand prompt for hpc bash
tnoremap - neovim terminal mappings throw errors with vim
tnoremap is specific to neovim therefore, since .vimrc is symlinked to .nvimrc, errors are thrown when launching vim. vim isn't symlinked to nvim since nvim still breaks sometimes after updates.
Should use a vimscript conditional in .zshrc to only use tnoremap mappings when using nvim/ignore when using vim.
.nvimrc differs
.nvimrc differs slightly across all machines. Reconcile with repo version and ditch redundant vimscript.
neovim spit navigation differs between air and all other machines
navigating by Tab for the time being until settled on an Alt setup. Obviously inefficient for more than two splits.
`Sys.setlocale` call breaks some installs
The Sys.setlocale
in .Rprofile breaks some bioconductor installs.
conceal fence works in 'vim-rmarkdown' but not its dependency 'vim-pandoc-syntax'
Had to turn off conceal in the latter because fences were completely invisible. This has removed the pretty folding/concealing of fences/headers, which worked in vim-rmarkdown but not in vim-pandoc-syntax.
