The script

Reported by doolitle a the user forum:

"When I have this installed, it causes the Series Info Panel plug-in to break
and display code instead of metadata. Any ideas on why that would happen? Has
it happened to anyone else?"

Clean directories problem

You'll need to change the Directory cleaning function.

The line:

CleanDirectories(parent)

will fail as the function is called: dmCleanDirectories

(Called recursively in order to keep removing directories until a non-empty one
is found.)

Also you spelled Stonepaw as StonePawn in deletecomics comment. Got a laugh out
of it.

Cheers ~Stonepaw

Error when no duplicates are present

If you run the script on a group of comics in which there are no duplicates,
you get an error (exception)

It does not affect the functionality of the script, but is distrubing, though!

Add rules based on pagtype

Would it be possible for the script to read page types (front cover,
advertisement, editorial etc)?

Basically, sometimes I add extra review pages and label them as page type
'Other'. So, an option like this could be helpful:

pagetype keep other

Allow merge of duplicates for list integrity preservation

I have different comic lists from different friends.
In one list there's all X-men, whil in other just main events.

I would like to keep both lists with all the comics, but remove duplicate
issues.
Currently the comic issue appears on both lists because they are different
files. If I try to remove the comic while removing the duplicate file (@
MOVEFILES TRUE
@ REMOVEFROMLIB TRUE), o
ne of the lists will miss the issue.

I don't know if this is possible. Maybe the plugin should merge the comics
instead of removing from library?

Thanks, for your effort on this plugin

New parser

If you want I build a parser that splits lines in the format:

filter a b c
filter "a b c" d #e
filter a"a #e
filter "" #e
@option a b
a
# e

And already remove the comments. It is attached, together with its integration
in the script.

Copy missing info from deleted files

Sometimes, the deleted files have some info that the remaining one does not
have. It would be good if, in a last step, that info could be copied to the
remaining file.

The fields that come to mind are:
1. Number of issues (the 5 in "1 of 5")
2. Alternate series
3. Alternate number
4. Alternate number of issues

I'm thinking in something like: if the remaining file have one of those fields
empty, but some deleted file has this info, copy the info.

When a group has only fileless comics, remove all but one

As of version 0.2, when a group has only fileless comics, they are all kept,
because otherwise the group would be empty.

Fix the 'pagecount remove fileless' rule to remove all but one, preferably the
one with a thumbnail shoud be kept.

Allow error margin in filter by size

When filtering by size, allow an error margin. For example:

filesize keep largest 10%

Meaning that it keeps the largest file and all that have at least 90% of its
size
