Hello Patrick, Would you consider in an evolution of Blastviewer the possibility to integrate eggNOG results in the application?

Add drag-and-drop to open files

Add DnD capability on the BlastViewer desktop to enable easy file opening.

Setup a simple API to enable the add of Viewers as external plugins.

Add JWS support

as the title implied... just check what is the future of JWS with recent and coming Oracle JRE.

Name in the Graphic tab when showing results from multiple queries

One minor thing I found is this. I have two queries. When I switch from to show results for query 1 to query 2, everything switches fine in the Hits tabs. However, one thing that is not changed is the Name and Size information on the Graphic tab. The ruler on the top doesn't seem updated either.

reorder columns

Add a cmd-line option at least to open file when starting BV from the cmd-line
