Hi there.
Really like your extension, however the icon only appears on other peoples work not my own when logged into flickr. I t would be very useful to be able to access this information in my own stream
Regards.
It appears that OA-Chrome is unable to handle multiple open windows/tabs with license information. The popup always shows the license and attribution information for the most recently parsed page. To see this in action, open one licensed page, then another tab with a licensed page. Switch to the first page and look at the license information. It will display the license information for the second page, not the first one.
I believe this is due to the fact that background.html is shared by all open pages, and uses global variables :/.
Scenario: I have this github issues page in a tab on Chrome, and Flickr in another tab with a CC licensed image open. When I first open the Flickr page, all is well and the plugin shows info for the Flickr page. But if I then click on the github issues tab and reload that page, then return to the Flickr tab without reloading, the plugin will show info for the last loaded page rather than the page in the current tab. Since the pugin's icon is in the location text area with the URL of the current tab's page, this is very confusing behavior!
P.S. I tried reporting this in the openattribute-chrome project, but I could not find an "issues" section on that project. Sorry!
As I posted on the mailing list, I think it would be useful if there was the option of downloading the attribution information in a machine readable format e.g. CSV.
You can combine the attribution name and URL into a single anchor
tag by specifying both rel and property; maybe you split them up
intentionally?
When I try to select the chrome add on I get an error 404
Same for firefox
Flickr changes the URLs used when logged in. This means that if you're using the metadata, you can't detect the license when the user is logged in. It appears that the Chrome extension isn't using the RDFa for the license detection (not sure, just a guess). When I'm logged in to Flickr, visiting http://www.flickr.com/photos/nathan_y/5387801478/, results in the following attribution HTML:
Now that Firefox only supports WebExtensions, the Firefox version doesn't work any more. In theory it's a small change to expand this extension to support both Chrome and Firefox.

Flickr license detection seems broken; it's showing BY-SA 3.0

The attribution name and URL seem swapped in both the popup and the
generated HTML (ie, see

The Dublin Core namespace is incorrect in the generated HTML; the
purl.org address is considered canonical
When you use fore and back buttons in Google Chrome, the button does not appear when it should.
It's showing a CC license for photostream pages on Flickr (ie,
http://www.flickr.com/photos/nathan_y/), which contain no license
assertion.
I just tried the plugin for Chrome with a Flickr image. One problem found with the RDF code it generates. The code finished up with a

Hi. I used this with flickr last week and it worked fine. However, today, for whatever reason, it is not working. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the chrome extension and it still does nothing when I click on the OpenAttribute icon on my taskbar. It'd be great if this could be fixed.
Thanks very much.
Kind regards
