Hotfix v2.1.0.8 attached above may well resolve some of the things you have reported. Could you give it a go?

BTW, I see you have reverted back to v1 but are still syncing to the same destination Outlook calendar - I would strongly recommend you create a new "ElpisSquared v2" calendar to sync to when testing the hotfix. Obviously the hotfix needs to be applied
over the top of a v2 installation too.

Hi,
I put some time into this today, but didn't have any luck. I can't even find where the v2 installation is. It does not appear to be in any of the normal locations. Of course it could be hidden in a folder called Paul Woodcock like the menu item is. I think
I'm done. The app is too quirky and it just isn't worth the time its taking from me. I'm falling back to v1 for a while and will ultimately move the organization entirely off of the Google apps and onto Outlook. Thanks for trying.

Hi,

I tried installing the hotfix, but it crashes immediately whether V2.1 is running or not. Running as admin makes no difference.

Are you
following the instructions for deploying a hotfix? It sounds like you are trying to execute the hotfix as a standlone .exe - which it's not. It needs to be copied over the top of the existing .exe file.

Thanks, sorry for not RTFM'ing - pretty new to the project, great work. The issue seems to be resolved, but I'll continue to monitor and post any follow up as needed.

@royokelly, to find where the install is, look at the Target in the properties of the Start Menu entry. Mine was C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\RKM6DNKT.MJT\CK50BYB8.H74\outl..tion_a30846ba3587a523_0002.0001_bd8e093a6d72d84b\OutlookGoogleCalendarSync.exe

@lematyke, thanks for confirming it looks to be fixed - I'll mark this as resolved.

As ClickOnce installs put the executable in such a horrific location, I have now surfaced the directory on the About tab in the application.
