archivepp's Issues

Assumptions in tests

I've come across the issue, with unrar, that the assumptions about names and indexes will result in the failure of their respective tests. There is no guarantee that the files will be sorted.

Add secure_allocator

The passwords are stored in archivepp::string, which uses the default allocator, which doesn't zero out the memory.
Additionally, this might be useful in sensitive archive data.

Refactor archive

archive currently disposes of any handles and resources in the destructor.
It's possible that a std::vector<entry_pointer> can exist after the destruction of an archive object.
Attempting to access these entries will be a catastrophe, as they reference handles of the archive.

Implement a way to let the user know the archive is already closed.
Perhaps an exception?

Or would it be better to have the user access the entries through the archive object itself rather than a vector of entry_pointers? That way, if a user wants to access an entry, the lifetime of an archive object would always be enough to access the entries.

Add OS X support and CI

Already have it compiling and tests succeeding on Clang.
Just need to update .travis.yml and I'm waiting for a reply from the unrar dev about an issue.
