Jquery is always required?

I just saw the getting started but it say:

TableFactory is an angular module to create tables, to add to your project simply add 'ngTableFactory' to angular dependancies. Require 'angular-sanitize.js'.

var app = angular.module("testApp", ["ngSanitize", "ngTableFactory"]);

But when it's not added Jquery the code throws an error:

var element = angular.element(document).find("#test");
var options = {
        columns: [{
            field: "FirstName",
            caption: "Name",
            sortable: true
        }],
        selection: {
            canSelect: true
        },
        data: [{
            FirstName: 'Test',
        }]
    };
    var factory = TableFactory.create(element, options);

console: ReferenceError: $ is not define

Maybe can be used angular.element(document).find(...) using Jqlite instead of Jquery

Are u gonna maintain this library in future?

Question:

How can I use the angular filters when loading the table?

For example:

I am currently loading a standard html table using {{ dollarvalue | currency }}

How can I do this using your table?

I tried to use the formatter but it doesn't work...

function currencyFormatter(value, record) {
    return '{{' + value + ' | currency }}';                       
}

It outpus as {{2516.43 | currency }}

Any help would be greatly appreciated

How do you use the events??

How do you register an event like row-selected? I am not finding a good explanation.
