Your going to need to post some code, and a full traceback of the error, otherwise I won't be able to begin on this. Even with that, I can't promise much time but I can take a look.

After a quick google my guess for this is you have an incorrectly created/restored database schema that doesn't have the correct column types e.g. see https://stackoverflow.com/a/47824894/182604
It is extremely unlikely to be an error in django-mailer, so I'm going to close on that basis. If you can show that it is a bug in django-mailer then please let me know and I'll re-open.

Thanks! The posgres 9.5 vs 10 was exactly the issue. You are better at google than me...
Weirdly enough the rest of the code worked.
