pivnet-cli for linuxbrew
The pivnet-cli
doesn't support Linuxbrew, which is the Linux port of homebrew.
Cloudfoundry-CLI and bosh-init are not Pivotal products
The readme states This a brew tap repository containing a collection of "formulae" for Pivotal products.
This might be true for all the other components in here, but the CF CLI and bosh-init are parts of the open source part of CF. Probably they should reside in their own cloudfoundry
tap?
command not found: cf
bosh-init out of date
The most recent version in the tap is 0.0.53 while the most recent bosh-init version is 0.0.77
Bump CLI to v6.14.0

I updated java and enabled it:
$ java -version
java version "14.0.1" 2020-04-14
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 14.0.1+7)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0.1+7, mixed mode, sharing)
How can I fix this problem?
Formula.sha1 deprecation
Hi,
I'm getting this warning every time I run brew update && brew upgrade
:
Warning: Calling Formula.sha1 is deprecated!
Use Formula.sha256 instead.
/usr/local/Library/Taps/pivotal/homebrew-tap/springxd.rb:6:in `class:Springxd'
So please update your formulas to use SHA256.
According to this document there is a warning on the SHA1 checksum deprecation since March.
Thanks!
Consider removing cloudfoundry-cli package
CF CLI homebrew package is now maintained and available via https://github.com/cloudfoundry/homebrew-tap so to avoid confusion maybe consider removing it from here.
The git-together formula is out of date
https://github.com/kejadlen/git-together/releases/tag/v0.1.0-alpha.13 is available but this tap is only up to 11.
What's plan to keep it up-to-date?
Thanks,
Shin
sha1 mismatch installing cloudfoundry-cli 6.12 from homebrew
Getting a sha1 signature mismatch error running brew install cloudfoundry-cli
The cloudfoundry-cli.rb
formula for the cloud foundry-cli has a sha1 value of 8dfca97225499195b5ce9bbfb9f38f423fba78c0
.
The value I get when running sha1sum against the cloudfoundry-cli-6.12.0.0&source=homebrew
file in the homebrew cache (/Library/Caches/Homebrew
) is 34083026a2b747ba176c71a3f2b12eb994b2b1c1
When I corrected the formula locally, CF 6.12 installs correctly from homebrew
