compile and execute but no sound...

Was eventually able to play a mp4 video with audio whose codecs appear below.

Based on http://dranger.com/ffmpeg/ and updates from https://github.com/illuusio/ffmpeg-tutorial, running Windows x64, Visual Studio 2015, SDL2, ffmpeg 4.0 and C++.

Would you please introduce the adjust() function in timer class

How this adjust algorithm work.
