Other contexts where this issue appears is when using

df.filter(pl.col("a") == pl.col("b"))

or

df.select(pl.col("a") == pl.col("b"))

instead of df.select(pl.sum_horizontal(pl.all())).

I think this may have already been fixed. #16830

Perhaps you can test the latest pre-release polars-1.0.0b1 to see if it still reproduces for you.
