this is probably a mangling of that comma when it urlencodes it for the purposes of generating the oauth2 signature, which would cover the "it works for either but not both". I'm currently sick, but will try to fix this the moment I'm well enough to debug code again. Thanks for reporting!

Confirmed, this issue is fixed - many thanks. However there's been a regression in flickr.photosets.getList - I'll open a new ticket...
