theme's Issues

Blue theme as an alternate to orange theme?

Would it be possible to create a easy alternate theme that uses blue for all the highlighting instead of orange? The blue from your basic design palette (#48b9c7) is a lot more pleasant to look at.

In case you wanted to make a KDE release...

Introduction

Hi there, I love System76, Pop-OS, and Redox.

I really enjoy the bleeding edge release of arch linux so I dual boot arch with Pop!_OS. I also really like KDE, it feels much faster than Gnome on my system. But I wanted to make it to make it look more like Pop!_OS so for the last 10 hours or so I went to work finding out how to make my system look as much like Pop!_OS as possible.

What I Installed

Naturally the first step was to install your teams:

  • GTK Theme
  • Icon Theme
  • Grub Theme
  • Wallpapers
(spent a good 4 hours trying to install the plymouth theme for flicker free boot only to find out that only works on intel integrated gpus)

What I Made

What I found

I wanted to share this with the community so we can enjoy KDE and Pop!_OS.

If anyone wants to install this I have an install guide here. The repo is called Pop on Arch but it should work on anything.

GNOME Shell colors are off

The sliders in the GNOME Shell menu are bright blue instead of what should probably be a bright orange.

GNOME calendar unusable with Pop Light theme

Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release):
Pop!_OS 21.10

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):
gnome-calendar:
Installed: 41.0-1
Candidate: 41.0-1
Version table:
*** 41.0-1 500
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu impish/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Issue/Bug Description:
GNOME calendar is unusable with the default Pop OS light theme: there is not enough contrast in the month view. Calendar works fine with the Adwaita or Pop Dark themes.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Set theme to Pop Light, open GNOME calendar

Theming for Chrome breaks

Chrome goes to a fallback theme when Pop theme is enabled. This does not happen on the Adapta theme.
