R with Cygwin when dont have "enough" permissions
UZH laptops suck!
essentially they dont give us the rights to work on stuff inside C:, so we need to install shit inside out user folder.
(delete everything R related from before - it will be ok)
Install R into your user folder (i.e change the default at install time)
Update the environmental variable so that it looks for R on your User path
Save that
Exit from control panel
Start a cygwin session
and you should be able to run stuff using Rscript
from (any) terminal?
