YelpCamp is a web application that allows users to browse and review campgrounds. Users can view campground details, such as location, amenities, and images, as well as read and write reviews. It aims to provide a platform for camping enthusiasts to discover and share their camping experiences.

Technologies Used

YelpCamp is developed using various technologies including:
HTML/CSS: For the overall structure and styling of the web pages.
Bootstrap: Bootstrap A popular front-end framework offering a wide array of pre-designed, responsive components and utilities, simplifying the process of creating visually appealing and functional web applications.
JavaScript: For implementing interactivity and dynamic features.
Node.js: A JavaScript runtime environment for server-side development.
Express.js: A web application framework for Node.js, used to build the server and routes.
MongoDB: A NoSQL database used for storing campground and user information.
Mongoose: An ODM (Object-Document Mapper) library for MongoDB and Node.js.
Passport.js: An authentication middleware for Node.js used to manage user authentication.

Development

YelpCamp was developed during the course "The Web Developer Bootcamp 2023" by Colt Steele. Concepts learned during the course were applied in building YelpCamp to showcasing the skills acquired during the course.
