guess-game's Issues

"Show hints" slider is inconvenient

If you click on slider and then release button outside the slider, it will never change its state
If you click on slider and then release button inside the slider, it always changes its state (but state should change only when mouse was moved to the correct side)
I will change behaviour of this slider myself

Better Frontend UI - With Design

I am thinking to change the UI, which helps in interacting with people. The current UI is good, but not having the engagement or flow of data. So I have designed one page design like yours, with some modifications.

Correctly guessing the number on last attempt incorrectly shows win/lose message

Just by chance, I ran into a problem where I guessed it correctly on the last attempt.

It first displayed the losing message, followed by the winning message.

I'll help out and look into the code later.

The radio button isn't back to the default checked one when click reset button

After choose a different level beside the default level, click reset button, the level back to the medium but the radio stay on the previous choice

Checkbox not show the real difficulty after reset

If you plays with Easy/Hard/Expert and reset game (or reload page in browser) the difficulty reset to default Medium, but the checkbox shows the original difficulty.

It may be nice to have a timer to make the game more interesting and score tracker to keep track of the highest score obtained

User is able to guess 0, negative numbers, and decimals

"Too low" shows upon win

If I win, the number still shows up on the side as "too low."

Implement responsive web interface

Web elements interfere visually with one another when window is adjusted at various smaller sizes.

Keep the level set when the turn restarts or even when the browser is closed

When the user click the "play again" button, the game level is reset to medium. The same issue happens when the browser is closed and opened.

Add border radius to guess and hint panels etc
