GNOME shell spotify ad blocker

This is a gnome shell extension to mute ads from the spotify linux desktop app.

How to install:

You can install this extension from https://extensions.gnome.org

Or you can do it by hand, downloading this repository to your local shell extensions folder ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions.

How to use:

A new icon will appear in the gnome bar. After opening the spotify app you should click on the icon and it will be white. This extension will mute your output when spotify plays ads and unmute when the music comes back.

The music icon will change to a tv icon when an ad is being played.
