Portable Reverse Engineering Framework

PREF

PREF (Portable Reverse Engineering Framework) aims to be the swiss army knife for Reverse Engineering. The basic idea is to have an all in one software for binary and file format analysis for every platform that runs Qt5.

Features:

• 010 Editor scripts/template compatibility.
• Visual Rapprentation of the binary file (currently using Binary View, and Dot Plot).
• String Scanner.
• Histogram View and Entropy Calculation.
• Binary Colored Visualization (Byte class or Entropic view) of the visible part of the file.

Improve SDK

PrefSDK must cover typical reversing operation, it must provide decompression routine for typical compression algorithm too

Multiformat Support

Allow to load multiple format at multiple offsets for the same file

RAR template crash

I just wanted to pop in to say Wow because PREF is impressive.

But to avoid spamming the tracker I just decided to leave this crash report here. )

Disassembler is Broken

PREF's disassembler needs to be tested and completed.

Unicode Support

PREF needs to handpe Unicode strings correctly

Lua Console

It will be useful a Lua Console in order to create function on the fly (keygeneration, custom decompression routines and so on)

ScratchPad

Create a new, empty HexEdit View in order to manipulate streams of data easily
