That's a configuration issue – both length limits and help texts on custom questions are set by event organisers. pretalx as a software provides as much flexibility as it can, but cannot make organisers give their speakers specific information. Please take this issue up with the organisers of the conference you're submitting your proposals for.

I'm fairly sure that many users understand such problems many times more than conference organizers.

Conference participants might be highly technical people. But conference organizers often might be merely just clerical staff.

The only option left is for the end users to examine all that source code.

That's why I say there should be some information buttons to explain each item.

Pretalx does not provide any of the interfaces you mentioned out of the box. "Keywords" are not a thing pretalx knows about – that's a custom question configured by organisers, so pretalx cannot provide further guidance here.
