Arduino nano

Thanks for this great project!
Mavpixel is compatible with Arduino Nano?
I've a lot of problems with the Mavpixel GUI, I can't set these parameters (comunication error after the first connection).
Same issue with USB and UPD connection.

Mode Changes Not Updating NeoPixels

I have just got everything installed and made some brief testing of these items:

Modes and Orientation Not working
Arm State Working
GPS Working

Warnings, Indicator, Throttle and RIng not yet tested.

As Arm state nd GPS works the communication between Mavpixel and FC must be running OK and these functions are also the most important ones for me.

It would be nice though to see the patterns indicating flight modes like Altitude, Position, Hold, Land and Return.

I have noticed that this issue has been covered before in another thread where missing types of airframe was the issue. My airframe in Qgroundcontrol is set to "Quadrotor" with subsetting of "DJI FlameWheel F450". FC is latest version of the Pixracer and firmware is PX4.

MavpixelGUI quits after connect.

I installed the latest version of MavpixelGUI. Then flash the firmware on the Arduino Pro Mini, and everything went well. But when I make the direct FDTI connection with Arduino to configure, the MavpixelGUI window closes after connect. I am using Windows 10, any suggestions for this problem?

Pixhwak 4 with PX4

Hi, I would love to use Mavpixel, but sadly I cannot get it to work with a Pixhawk 4.

I can flash Mavpixel, set up my LED's and if I connect them up the light up in the correct colors.

But I cannot get MavLink to work (The status LED on the arduino keeps blinking with 5hz pulse)

In the README you want me to configure SERIAL

If Mavpixel indicates there is no Mavlink, confirm your flight controller's SERIALx settings on the appropriate port (i.e. SERIAL2 for Telem 2 port). These should be set to SERIAL_BAUD = 57 and SERIAL_PROTOCOL = 1. Still no luck? Double check all connections between Mavpixel and the flight controller.

But i cannot find anything marked with SERIAL in the PX4 firmware in QGroundcontrol.
These are the only three SER_ configurations that I see

I tested the arduino with both of my TELEM Ports.
Both ports are working with a 433MHz Telemetry radio, so MavLink has to be configured correctly :/

I cannot sucessfully flash Mavpixel firmware.

I downloaded Mavpixel firmware from Github (Filename: Mavpixel-master.zip) but when I flash it using MavpixelGUI, I get a successful flashing message at the end but the logs says 0 bytes of flash was written. Investigating the logs further shows that there was a warning that there is no end of file found for Intel Hex file "Mavpixel-master.zip". Can somebody have a look at this issue and probably offer a fix?

Blinking Heart MavpixelGUI

So i finally got the mavpixel flashed onto my arduino mini pro, got the pixhawk fc to communicate to the mavpixel, got the 1 hertz blinking green heart. But i still get no working leds?
i have a blinking heart in the Pixel GUI at the bottom program, don't know what that is. Also im giving the led strips power from the servo rail of the pixhawk, as stated in the picture in the main github page of mavpixel,
still don't know what's wrong?

Mavpixel GUI not Flashing

i used a cp210x to connect my new arduino pro mini 5v and tried using the MavPixelGUI to flash the mini but it fails every time. i keep getting the same message over:

"stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x60No response from Mavpixel. Check the connections and port is correct."

I tried using IDE to write the mavpixel onto the mini but that doesn't work as it says:
"Using library FastSerial in folder: C:\Users...\libraries\FastSerial (legacy)
exit status 1
Error compiling for board Arduino Pro or Pro Mini."

Is there another version of mavpixel i need to use or so?
I'd Appreciate the help

No Connection after flashing

Flashing the Pro-Mini with FTDI works only after manualy downloading the .hex file.
It say "flashing sucessfull...."

Connect to the GUI allways fail (no Hardwarechange after flashing => USB-FTDI-ProMini same port)
Try to change USB-Port and speed, Portscann show everytime the same Port (7)?
Pro-Mini is flashing quick, no LED's connected.

Mode Changes Not Updating NeoPixels

Using - APM:Copter 3.5.0-rc7

In FM Stabilise neopixels set to 'Modes & Orientation'. Pixels light and colour can be adjusted in 'Mode Colors' and neopixel colours change.

Change to any other FM, pixels do not change as expected.

In CLI using 'VARS' command mode number is changing. But pixels not updating.

Possibly missing code to update pixel status on FM change?
