Indeed. I was able to modify the metadata dependencies to remove yum and yumrepo and replace them with yum-epel. This looks like it will break installs on centos as your custom yumrepo::atomic recipe will be unavailable.

Not entirely sure how you want to fix that part. I'm on ubuntu so the yum stuff is irrelevant to my platform.

The only reason for including the yum-repo cookbook is to use the "atomic" repository. If there's another cookbook that offers that repository and is better maintained or supported please let me know and I'll modify the cookbook to use that repo instead.

I'm not a centos/RHEL user but I'll try to find an alternative. Because of the dependancy resolution problem though the cookbook is useless to anyone using another cookbook that has updated so yum < 3.0.0.
