With the development of p5js and the API advances in Processing itself, as well as Processing.js itself having been in maintenance mode for quite a few years now, this project has been archived as of December 2018.

Processing.js would like to thank everyone who contributed over the years: it's been an amazing project! The code will still be available in read-only mode, no releases will be pulled from any of the places it was distributed through, but the last version is, and will forever be, v1.6.6.

Thank you for your support, and happy coding (with newer solutions)!

Astounding omission to Processing's Forum link!

Some months ago I've become aware by chance that http://ProcessingJS.org/ site doesn't list https://forum.Processing.org/two/discussions as a Community link @ https://GitHub.com/processing-js/processing-js.github.io/blob/master/community/index.html!

I wonder if it ever had once or was it by purpose?!
Just unbelievable considering that Processing's forum always had a category dedicated to JS Mode/PJS:
https://forum.Processing.org/two/categories/javascript

Fixing it now won't amend the damage caused by the omission throughout these years, but it's a start. =(

Out of date live website

Hey, the repo seems to have up to date info but looking at the live http://processingjs.org/ and /download the latest release is like 2014.

Kind of an activity feedback loop there that's not helping you out.

Hello.processing.org throws a https cert invalid error

update the docs to explain that there is no "api only" use anymore.

The 1.4.9 rewrite removed the "api only" version of the library, but the docs do not make it clear that this is no longer a valid way to use Pjs, so a number of pages will need to be updated to reflect that.

replace all lighthouse links with github links

several articles still mention lighthouse

some code for circle buttons mention constructing not-a-circle-button

remove API-only stuff from the guides

it's misleading users who think it still works.
