yes i did already there is no sln file in the project nor .vcxproj

Or why dont you build with cmake.

am i suppose to do this
if so how would i use vs dev cmd prompt to do so or do i have to do something else

$ mkdir build && cd build
$ cmake .. -A Win32
$ cmake --build .

press windows key, u will see the folders in the menu, find Visual Studio folder, dev cmd is in that folder

but how do i install git to the cmd

Could u please google about it？ There are bunch of informations about how to install git.

Download the installer from official page and run it, then follow the instruction.

Plus, u can change directory in the dev cmd as normal cmd. You shouldn't build Dainsleif in Windows/System32 directory, move yourself to desktop or wherever convenient for you.
