PSS

PSS is based on Komodo (Zcash fork). You should install Komodo with all dependencies and then run PSS blockchain and connect with the network.

Getting started

Dependencies

#The following packages are needed:
sudo apt-get install build-essential pkg-config libc6-dev m4 g++-multilib autoconf libtool ncurses-dev unzip git python python-zmq zlib1g-dev wget libcurl4-gnutls-dev bsdmainutils automake curl libsodium-dev

Build Komodo

Komodo builds for all operating systems out of the same codebase. Follow the OS specific instructions from below.

Linux

git clone https://github.com/komodoplatform/komodo --branch master --single-branch
cd komodo
./zcutil/fetch-params.sh
# -j8 = using 8 threads for the compilation - replace 8 with number of threads you want to use
./zcutil/build.sh -j8
#This can take some time.

OSX

Ensure you have brew and Command Line Tools installed.

# Install brew

Use a debian cross-compilation setup with mingw for windows and run:

Create .komodo/PSS/PSS.conf

Create a komodo.conf file:

Connect to PSS blockchain

Command to run PSS blockchain and connect with the network:

Wallet commands:

Get (transparent) wallet and blockchain info

./komodo-cli -ac_name=PSS getinfo

Get (transparent) wallet information

Get mining information

Generate a new address

./komodo-cli -ac_name=PSS getnewaddress

Send an amount from account to address
