can't find file when knitting (but I've set my working directory)

working directory when knitting is not the working directory you set for an R script... explain that the default WD when knitting is the directory where the Rmd file lives

Add link to FAQ on main PsyTeachR website

Main website has no link to FAQ and people can only access it if they know the link.

read_csv locale issue

In some countries, comma is used as a decimal point. So you might have to change the default locale when using read_csv(). so we don't end up re-writing them every time

rstudio server: "unexpected response"

Seems to be happening mainly among students accessing the RStudio server from China.

"Advice (local/central and global) is to always have some antivirus/malware software installed, and to keep the system patched. My additional advice would be to run MalwareBytes on a machine with difficulties to run spot check and identify and clear any problems. We have tested the Rstudio Server connection with all the regular browsers and a few irregular (opera, iceweasel etc) without any problems, so it is likely to be an infection/malicious plugin. Considering the nature of the clients, I am quite surprised this is the extent of the problems - we see some pretty messed up machines come through our offices. 1134 users logged in in the last 2 months and 25->250 sessions at any one time, we doing pretty well."

students commonly need to change variables from numeric to categorical or vice versa.
Talk about if_else(), case_when(), recode(), etc.
