I am Robert, a cutting edge tech enthusiast and a full stack developer that wears many hats, from white to black, and everything in between. I specialize in web and API development, cloud architectures, system integrations and IoT. Been developing API FORGE, a RESTful APIs factory for a few years. I've also been working on an IoT monitoring and analysis platform called BEENO. Why do things yourself when you can have a bunch of smart devices do everything while you take a nap?

i tried to use lol-bin-parser and an error thrown: unknown version but with debug, the file could be parsed in some steps

could you share about how to parsing the lol data assets, especially about the file protocol

How to compare bin file of lol

Hi pupix,
I'm new in Github and I don't know the right way to send msg to you on Github. So I write the question here.
For some reason I need to compare the bin files, for example "Fizz.bin" in 6.1 patch and 6.2 patch. I have to figure out what exactlly changed in bin file.
But I've no idea the structure of the bin file and then find your lol-bin-parser. I've tried to use this program to parse bin file of 6.3 patch, but get the text all like " '606053171': [ [Object], …". So I still can't get what is changed in bin file.
I will be very appreciate if you can give me some suggestions about this question. Thank you.

unknown .bin version

I have tried your parser for the .bin file in chunks and keyframe, it gives a error unknown .bin version,
any idea?
is it not using for .bin file in chunks and keyframe?
