hunspell4eclipse's Issues

Java code is spell checked

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a java file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: only comments are spell checked and perhaps hardcoded strings.
The java code is spell checked too, not only the comments and hardcoded
strings

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.5.200911070944

Please provide any additional information below.

The hunspell4eclipse feature contains an false depencency on org.eclipse.jdt.ui

The hunspell4eclipse feature explicitly states that it depends on the
org.eclipse.jdt.ui feature. This is incorrect since none of the plugins in this
feature depend on JDT. The result is that you can not install hunspell4eclipse
in an Eclipse without JDT. And that is exactly what I tried to do.

Removing line "<import plugin="org.eclipse.jdt.ui"/>" in feature.xml will
resolve this. (see patch)

I would also consider to remove all dependencies from the feature. As far as I
know the plugin dependencies are enough.

x86/64 on OSX not supported

I installed the plug-in on Eclipse 3.6 on OSX 10.6 using a 64 bit Eclipse
version. Then if I try to select the spell checker, it throws an exception that
the my platform is not supported:

Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Unknown OS/arch: mac os

Can you tell me, what to do in order to make this work (e.g. I could build the
corresponding native code, etc.), but I don't have the time to do a simple
code-based research.

Thanks for your help in advance,
Zoltán Ujhelyi

hunspell4eclipse installation fails

I'm trying to install hunspell4eclipse in an Eclipse 3.7.2 SDK (Windows 7
64bit, win32.x86) via the update site:
http://hunspell4eclipse.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/com.lorands.hunspell4eclipse.up
datesite/

After starting the downloads I get the error message you can see in the
attached screenshot. Do you have any ideas?

I thought about using hunspell4eclipse in my own RCP application for
spellchecking and hyphenation within a Jface text viewer. Is that possible?
