stacked percentage charts lack date and sample size display

Shortform URLs for queries

Currently queries are POST'ed which makes it hard to link to them. A shortform could be created with schema knowledge.

enable gzip compression on db queries

Find some way to inform of the size of the sample being displayed.

scrolling the sidebar is not smooth

The navigation sidebar scrolling is currently done by jquery.slimscroll. This does not have innertia and does not use native scrolling behavior. Figure out a way to have the sidebar scroll and use native behavior where possible.

Filters to be expressed as flag-string in query to make it shareable.

Quiet often want to share link with stats covering only Android for example, but Filters are not preserved in URL query.

It would be useful if they would be, that would make all pages with their Filter states linkable.

Some implementation features:

1. Using History API to modify query url without redirecting.
2. Make bitmask and convert into character within valid ASCII letter space with numbers, that would be short enough for storing in query URL.

Privacy consideration

I am developing a WebGL game, and I would like to contribute to collecting your (very useful!) data by including the stats script.

However, I feel that it is good practice to inform users about what data is being collected and shared. Where this happens on my website, this is my job to communicate.

This is mostly trivial: the purpose of the website is quite clear:

"The statistics on this site help WebGL developers make decisions about hardware capabilities."

Is that all the information collected by the script, including by the CDN (other than the standard sever logs)?

If so, it would be helpful to say somewhere on the page, in as many words, that "no personally identifiable information is collected".

fix iOS standalone navbar scroll issue

Showing incorrect results for WebGL2 extensions for iOS?

I'm probably doing something stupid but I'm a little confused.

AFAIK as of today, September 18th, 2017 iOS does not support WebGL2 and checking the WebGL2 stats that seems to be true

But if I switch to the OES_texture_float_linear extension for WebGL2 it shows 38% support.

Is that a bug?

Filter range and intervals

It would be useful to select the range and interval of returned data (daily gets a bit chaotic to look at)

A page allowing you to assembly a custom query and see how it does over time and across platforms. Should be linkable.

Tooltip from graph overflows from right side of screen

If you hover on the graph with tooltip to get to right side of screen, it will overflow page horizontally and cut the tooltip data. This leads to unreadable information and horizontal scroll to appear on page.

webglstats.com appears to be down, serving a 502 Bad Gateway response from nginx. Also the HTTPS certificate expired on February 16.

Add new extensions and remove not supported

EXT_disjoint_timer_query and EXT_disjoint_timer_query_webgl2 while being available show widely inaccurate results in 80% cases due to exploit and not supported according to MDN and Caniuse.

Website doesn't work

I visited the site today and got this error in Chrome 83:

This causes the whole UI (except the sidebar) to be blank:

Love the site, have used it frequently for reference and learning - but returned to it recently and it seems to have been taken down.

This'd be a real shame - is there a particular reason it's no longer up?
Would love to have it up and running again!
