even I download the src, and install as root user with
python setup.py install,
it gives the following error
writing requirements to pep8.egg-info/requires.txt
error: pep8.egg-info/requires.txt: Permission denied
oh, my god, what a day!

I even tried with
python ez_setup.py, then it reports
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/urllib2.py", line 1006, in do_open
raise URLError(err)
urllib2.URLError: "urlopen error (101, 'Network is unreachable')"
similar error.
please help!!!
