🍻 homebrew-taps

A repo to put things we want to distribute through brew.

To add a new formula, create one using the cookbook. When you are finished just add it to the Formula folder and it will be available to all who have the qlik-oss/taps tap installed tapped.

Tapping the tap

To tap this tap just run

brew tap qlik-oss/taps

After the tap is tapped, you can easily install any formula present in this repo, e.g. corectl:

brew install qlik-corectl

And voilà! It is installed.

homebrew-taps's Issues

Automate flow for publishing formulas

It would be nice to automate the process of publishing formulas so that we can from corectl open a PR and then generate bottles for both linux and mac. (At the very least mac.)

The automation must do at least the first of:

• Create PR when there is a new corectl release containing updated formula
• Create new bottles based on the updated formula

Who will heed the call for a mighty dev-ops wizard? 🙏
