How to install

Via 2019.4 and later

  • In Unity, open Window/Package Manager
  • Select the + button at the top left
  • Select Add package from git URL...
  • Paste in https://github.com/QuantumCalzone/UnityGitPackageUpdater.git#upm
  • Click the Add button

Via 2019.3 and eariler

  • In your Unity Project, open up the manifest.json file located in your Packages folder
  • below "dependencies": { add the line "com.quantumcalzone.unityframework": "https://github.com/QuantumCalzone/UnityGitPackageUpdater.git#upm",

No action on first attempt, second attempt gives "ArgumentException: oldValue is the empty string"

I tried to update the Git package for Google Cardboard SDK from v1.4.1 to the latest v1.6.0. It does nothing when I first click the package name. Sequential attempts give ArgumentException: oldValue is the empty string.

  • Google Cardboard SDK was already installed at the time I installed Git Package Updater.
  • Running Unity 2019.4.27f1.

No packages are listed in the window

Hi,

My project uses a lot of git packages, so I thought this could be useful to not clean the lock file all the time manually. I installed PackageUpdater in 2019.4. But the only package it lists is this one, and nothing else. UpdateAll works, but I don't really want to redownload ALL packages.

Is there a step I'm missing, or?
