Thanks for the report. Clearly, core machine type has not reason to include GLITE_BASE_CONFIG_SITE... Probably a too quick copy/paste... My suggestion is really to remove the faulty line.

Removing it is probably best, however a cleaner fix that the one @dzila suggested would be something like...
