Also, the paddles seem to rotate in strange ways because they seem to be colliding with the walls near them °-° what if the paddles only collided with the ball?
It could be a cool little system that would allow you too set your score and 3 letters to identify you.

lol another on I found. The ball can get stuck under the left flipper in the top left. Also the right flipper at the top left is in a strange position and it is hard to hit the ball. Edit: No matter what I do I can't get the ball out and the left flipper will not move.
Every time I hit any scoring element it's giving me a new life.

Quill, in the current state you really SHOULD add the reset button. It's completely essential right now, because there are many bugs/issues that get the ball stuck, and because you can't reset, having to re-load the entire webpage may be a turn-off for a judge that could be very easily avoidable. One of the main stuck issues is when the ball gets stuck under the ball launcher.

somehow the ball just landed there and just stopped and wouldn't move

This has since been fixed.
The mutation color is tied to the original red ball, not to the current green one. Is there a way this could be changed? Also if a way to mutate based off of the "winner" of "natural selection" (Instead of constantly mutating from the same starter color all the time - which it has in my experience)
Ball came back down ramp after an unsuccessful hit and when i clicked to move the lever the ball swept right threw it!
Makes it hard to keep yourself alive.
Green things above left suicide-lane give points when they are down and you roll over them

In the top left section the ball can get stuck bouncing in between two bumpers.

GATC on the instructions should now read DNA because you swapped DNA for the GATC.
Quill in order to make the juges impressed you could try adding antilising or makeing it alot more smoother looking :D
Have a debug mode where you can control your ball with your mouse, so you can test if certain areas get the ball stuck/test new or changed gameplay mechanics.
I know your bonus is "cashed out" when you lose a ball, but is your multiplier supposed to revert to 1 too?
you can't really "stop" the ball unless it lost all of its speed from hitting the wall right next to the main flippers.

Ball often jumps over border over to the start/launch area when hit by third flipper. Seen in image.
are you planning on adding a server to host highscores of many people in the future(after ludum dare)? You could put this game on the same site as fish-tank commander as a mini-game or something, and create a website of many games created by you for ludum dare!
When the ball hits these walls at a fast enough speed, the bounce that the green walls produce isn't enough to change the balls speed (the red bumpers change the direction even when the ball is going incredibly fast)
During multi-ball, new balls are supposed to take the parent's(the previous ball's) color, and have slight changes to it, thus, over time, evolving it's color...
However, during Survival Of The Fittest, the new balls color's are always shades of red or yellow, even when the parent ball is bright green, like the first one...
When you lose there is no "game over screen", which it should probably have
It could be like:
Option 1: Submit high-score with 3 letter nickname
Option 2: Restart
The flipper should have a sound effect, it feels weird when other things do but they don't.
The wall behind the rectangular teal bumper is missing and the ball can fall off of the table.

The frog at the bottom could use some color
We could have some songs to play when the score reaches certain milestones, and after each milestone is reached the song changes to a slightly more "hard core" song.
No penalty for tilting repeatedly.
I can tilt continualy this is not really a bug but it makes the game far to easy to exploit
The instructions menu needs to be updated for these new features!
When I shoot the ball and it goes up the ramp, but not with enough force to make it all the way, the camera goes to the mini-game area in the top left while the ball goes down the main hole and I lose.
I think it either is a) glitched so it won't appear or b) appeared behind something, where you cannot see it

In pinball games I've played, the ball bounces a tiny bit on surfaces that aren't supposed to be "bouncy" when the ball has picked up enough speed. The ball doesn't immediately drop down and roll from a fast drop
If you hit a ball that is falling with your flipper instead of bouncing off the ball stops dead.
I think the bumpers in the bonus are aren't placed pretty well or there should be a bouncer on the right + left wall of the bonus area, because I've NEVER seen the ball go in the middle of the area
so if you got a ton of bonus with 1 ball its removed with when it dies... I haven't tested if you lose bonus earned from your last ball or if it is applied
for clarification, this isn't the bonus multiplier, but the bonus # which is being multiplied to get your total bonus
