railsguides_blog's Introduction

README

This app follows the railsguides getting started blog ap at: guides.rubyonrails.org/getting_started.html

I’m using Ruby 2.2.3 and Rails 4.2.4 This is just another drill so that rails notions become more comfortable.

This tutorial is useful for:

  • creating relationships within models (as in the reservster app)

  • creating and calling partials (though the syntax is still unclear to me and I’ve made notes about this this on the tutorial page with the NoteAnywhere Chrome extension)

  • implementing basic authentication with HTTP authentication system (implementation is incomplete in this tutorial).
