Thanks for trying it out. Unlike the previous version, his version also
defaults to using the BLAS for large matrix multiplies with the %*%
operator (unless the operands have NaN/NA values) if you specify a
--with-blas configuration argument, in order that people not get confused
by a difference from R Core releases in this respect. (You can override
the default with options(mat_mult_with_BLAS=T/F/NA).)

I haven't found any problems with this release, of 2014-09-30, so it will
probably become the regular release within a few days.
