Hello, how're you doing?

My name is Rafael, but you can call me Rafa. I'm a software engineer, musician, and tech enthusiast from Brazil. I'm currently working at Indaband, we are changing how people connect through music. Here you can find my dotfiles, and some other open-source projects. Cya :)

django-alacarte's Issues

Django 1.8 Warnings

Worked on upgrading to Django 1.8 and saw the following warning:

RemovedInDjango19Warning: django.utils.importlib will be removed in Django 1.9.

Ended up getting a stacktrace and it showed me that its being used by django-alacarte. Certainly this isn't a huge issue, but would be nice to get rid of a warning by using the new methods in Django 1.8. Below is a stacktrace (you can get this by running python -W "error:django.utils.importlib:DeprecationWarning" manage.py).

As always, thanks for such a fantastic project! If I get enough time to work on this I'll submit a pull request, though at the moment I just wanted to at least document this.

Recursive submenu template rendering

Add a template for rendering recursive submenus.
Something like (template submenu.html): {% if menu.submenus %}{% include submenu.html %}{% endif %}

Alacarte 0.1.31

I installed alacarte recently and got 0.1.31 but noticed it wasn't a release on github nor was it marked as the latest version on pypi which confused me. Thought I'd at least mention it!

Ordering of Menus

I'm wondering if there is a way to order the menus? I have multiple applications which add themselves to a menu and they are appearing in alpha ordering (possibly it's just a by product of how the apps are loaded, I'm not certain).

I apologize if this actually ends up as a "support" issue rather than a feature, but figured this was the easiest way to look into this. I've looked at the code and haven't noticed anything but that doesn't mean I haven't overlooked it!
