The shield core doesn't stop any sort of weapon anymore
Im not sure if this page is even still active but the hud for the daudulus (i probably mispelled that) doesnt have meters for the stats its supposed to display
So i spawned a SGC Screen and Server, and turned him on but the Screen stays Black and i can't see anything on it, but my Friends on the Server can see it.
EDIT: I can see stuff on the Screen when i open the main menu, but it gets black again when i close the Menu.
There are duplicate wire inputs/outputs on the ship weapons. If you use the wire tool, you can see there is one set of wire outputs at the very base/bottom of the weapon, and another set of same outputs in rest of the weapon.

I was entity ID 1, other person ID6 (Not sure if relevant) (edit: Obtained with wire, which is apparently not relevant at all), and the other person was the one entering the vehicle. Only seems to happen with one person at a time. Has happened multiple times with different people.
I placed and parented a holo onto the player who entered the vehicle, and was able to see the holo flickering at my position. Perhaps it only happens when when the ship is moving, or something?
Edit: Doesn't happen w/ puddle jumper. Additionally, with control chair, it doesn't constantly switch between the positions, and just stays on the other person's pos.
Edit(2): With only two players in the server, it doesn't seem to flicker between the two players, and just stays on the second person.
And that's about it for what I find as bugged or incomplete.

The Naquadah Generator seems to serve no purpose. It is not possible to connect directly to a gate, weapon, shield or anything, it will not link. Using a resource node doesn't work. This worked before so I believe it must be a bug from within cap somewhere?
can we know the controls for all the sgc screens please
RPG, Grenade, Asuran gate weapon and Crossbow bullets go through the shield. I tested this with only CAP, Spacebuild and Wiremod. It used to work properly but I think an update to Gmod broke this. Any chance of it getting fixed at somepoint?
I reduced the tickspeed on my server to 33, because it has to handle a lot of player. (RP-Server)
Then i noticed that it does not dial correctly (Sometimes it needs more than one revolution to actually find a glyph.
This happens because the range that it detects the glyphs is very slim.
What i did is just add this into the top of the "ENT:StopFormula(y,x,n,n2)" function:

Seems to work perfectly, but i don't have the time test it properly for some time. If you guys want me to create a pull request it's fine but there's probably a better way to do this.
I was attempting to design a script with Ea2 with a simple goal, a chat operated DHD of sorts, Simply say "Dial 'address'" in chat and you are on your way.
Besides several hundred failures of finding the entity i eventually found a method good enough.
I can not dial gates via "entity.stargateDial", or much of ANYTHING using "entity.*", UNLESS i've spawned the gate. it works 100% of the time. if the Gatespawner spawns the gate. its inoperable.

For some reason, the Atlantis gate doesn't show up in the spawn menu, and I can't spawn it using the console.

I noticed the stargate ships are classed as “entity” right. A suggestion from me is to change them to the 'vehicle' class, this will ex. allow the wire target finder be able to track sg ships. This will result in more fun ingame I believe :) Would love to spawn ship weapons, and have them track the ships flying around, using the target finder.
If this is easy enough to change, I can do it myself if someone can just point me to which files to edit, and then I guess I can do a pull request with the changes?

I mentioned this before in some other thread but I got no answer so I'm reposting this.
The Jaffa NPC does not shoot, neither does any other NPC's I give the Staff Weapon. Most other weapons are bugged that way, too, the only NPC I know does not bug when I give it a CAP weapon is the Metro Police. Other CAP NPC's work properly.
Hey, now that the file size cap on the Garry's Mod steam workshop has been removed in the latest update are there any plans to condense down the 31 or so CAP addons on the workshop into a single one?
The whole reason that the file size cap has been removed is to try discourage multiple addons for content and give players more ease of life when using the workshop.
I understand most developers don't like updating things on the workshop because it's a bit tediuous and it takes ages to complete (especially for big addons), I'm the same. However CAP gets such little updates anyway that it wouldn't exactly disadvantage any of the developers because there aren't any updates to push.
(I downloaded the latest cap and cap_resources, merged them then uploaded them to the workshop here using the updated version of gmad/gmpublish just to demonstrate my point.)

I've tried multiple times but for some reason there is an issue with the shield core. I hit E on the device(even when receiving power) but the shield core menu doesn't pop up. I've even tried overriding using the wire tool but nothing wants to work.

So I was playing around (in-game) with a DHD and I discovered that the sequence of an address doesn't matter, as long as you have the right symbols. For example, to dial a gate with the address "SPAWNG#", you can rearrange the letters to "SAWNGP#" or "ANGWPS#".
During the opening and closing animations before and after the kawoosh, the usual solid white glow now has transparancy. I have not used the addon pack for a few weeks, so I do not know if this is spacebuild/other addon related or a bug in CAP itself.
i cant seem to figure out how to get the horizon type to change with wire. i want to save a dupe with the type wired to an e2 but i dont know the strings required to change it. ive already tried "sg1","infinity",and "universe" capitalized and otherwise. me and a friend have combed throught the code but we cant find anything to help.

I tried to make All In One version of the mod. I got the files from github (master and resources), put them into 2 seperate mods and put them to workshop and tried to launch them. But when pressing Q it just gives me messege saying: Missing Addon, The Stargate carter Addon Pack

according to the lua, doing stargateDHDPressButton("DIAL") with E2 should press the center button? but it doesn't do anything? the is an address inputted into the DHD and the only button left to press would be the center button.
shield cores almost always fail to block projectiles and anything else, and are completely useless compared to the shield tool, despite being much better
I was looking around in Wiremod and found the E2 dialing computer and iris screen today so I decided to try that out I connected everything properly and set up a code on the iris computer but when you try and enter it on the GDO it denies it no matter what. Also whenever the dialing computer finish's booting up it says something about how the server has 10000 BPS and it needs 13000 BPS . Does someone know if it is an issue with CAP or Wiremod?
Ever since the SGC screens were added i've always wanted a system like the Antarctica Gate from SG-1, Where if you have 2 SG-1 Stargates with the same address, and same group. If you tried dialing out from one you would get a busy signal, Also a nice thing to add with that would be DHD's have priority over SGC Computers, So it would be almost the same as the episode "Solitudes" (S1 EP18).
I have been attempting to create a working Gatespawner for a couple of maps I enjoy greatly, but I have been getting this error consistently:

While this error is flashing, the map has no Stargates, DHDs or ramps spawned in. Even when I have only a couple of Stargates in the map, the same parsing error comes up.
Apologies if this is the wrong place to put difficulties such as these.
Sometimes when going through a Stargate it places you behind the gate. I've searched in the code but it seems like this should not happen because the player is placed on the event horizon.
Could this be because you get noclip for one tick? Basically flying for one tick
