Can this app be adjusted to allow filtering by release?

When we split user stories, we move the [Unfinished] portion to a separate release called Cemetery, so the points are not counted twice in the Release. If a blocker is the cause of the story being split the teams prefer to leave both stories in a Blocked state, for reference. However, since the [Unfinished] story isn't going to be worked on going forward, they don't want to see it in the Blocked Work app. We would love to be able to add a query behind the app to show (Release.Name != Cemetery) or have filter controls on the app, something like that.
