Schedule State is always copied for User Stories

The app always copies the Schedule State of the Story Stories even it is not selected in the properties to be copied. We would like to make a copy of Feature will all the Schedule States of the child user stories to be set the Backloged.

App-External.html cant get past Sign Screen

I am using App-External.html to start the portfolio program. The attached sign in screens come up and I cannot get past them even though I have the correct credential (I think). The credentials I have, work at https://rally1.rallydev.com but not when sign is required via app-external.html

Any ideas ? I am not sure why sign is even required as the populated drop
downs and other info has already been pulled in from Rally

Copy of dependencies

Would it be possible to include copy of dependencies between user stories?

Portfolio item custom fields

Custom fields can be very important. I have noticed that when a portfolio item is copied using the portfolio item copy, the values of the custom fields do not carry over.

User stories ranks change

When a portfolio item is copied using the portfolio item copy, the ranks of the user stories are different in the newly created portfolio item.

Portfolio Item Copy triggering Work Rule Errors

Identified an issue on the Portfolio Items Copy dashboard (in the Home drop down) where portfolio items (features, capabilities, epics) that are in the Implementing state or later are receiving work rule errors requiring a planned start and end date even if the portfolio item already has one.

Catching the ID of the Portfolio Item It is Copied Into

Can you specify where in app.js you can capture the target portfolio item (the one the child objects are copied -to- not -from-)? I am trying to figure out how to capture that portfolio item as I want to delete it...can't figure out where I could add some additional code to do so.

I am still trying to learn the Rally API and have been unsuccessful in finding where in the code this might be specified.

Task Estimate/Plan Estimate Values not copying over

These values had been getting copied in the past but it looks like all values now get zeroed out after the copy.

Milestones are excluded

I noticed milestones are not included in the cloning process, but tags were included. With them both having a many to one relationship with the portfolio item, I didn't know how difficult it would be to include them in with the copy process.

Copy Fails If Portfolio Item's Project isn't Default

When attempting to copy an portfolio item I have found that the copy button does not get enabled if the item or any of the children are assigned to a different project. These items result in an undefined object being added to the list in the createList function and causes errors when the code try to check for children on the undefined object.

Copy of owner doesn't work anymore

When trying to copy the owner field on a user story the following error is displayed:

Create Error when copying "user story name":
Error setting value for field [ Owner ]: Cannot use type Release in attribute Owner. Value must be of type User.

Order of child items not the same a source

When performing a copy af e.g., an initiative with features, the creation order is not the same as the source order - in this regard I'm referring to the ID order (not rank, name or other).

Is there a specific order the new child items are created in? Would it make sense to set this to either ID or rank? Or alternatively as an option in the app settings?

Unable to copy child stories from a project with view-only access

Users are unable to copy from a project (team) where they have View only access. The Feature will copy but the child User stories will not, generating the error in the screen shot below. When the user's access is changed to Edit verses View, the stories were copied with no issues.

App does not support renaming of lowest level portfolio item

The lowest level portfolio item must be named Feature to be able to choose fields in the app settings.

app.js lines 454+456 must be changed if you have chosen another name than Feature.

Addition fields not working!!

I cannot get the app to work. Only the main fields are being copied, but not even PlanEstimate on user stories + none of the additionally selected fields are copied.

Member krmorse was the last person to update the Readme file

I am looking for advise on either

1. an enhancement to this program
2. copy this program and add the additional user input box

As soon as I get an acknowledgement of receipt by any member, I will respond with more info
