Getting Started

It doesn't take much to get started. Anyone who can read markdown and has sufficient knowledge about a topic likely can understand the content.

How to Contribute

We appreciate any useful resources you can share with the developer community!

Steps to adding a resource:

  1. Fork this repo and clone onto your local machine
  2. Create a feature branch following the conventions documented in the CONTRIBUTING.md.
  3. Add your resource to the appropriate category & test it to make sure it is consistent with how other resources are formatted.
  4. Create a Pull Request (PR)

That's it! I (or a maintainer) will review the Pull Request and merge if its acceptable.

If there are any questions about your contribution, we'll ask them or request changes through the PR process.

Topics

This open-source resource list has multiple topics you can explore!

Free Learning Curriculums

It's highly recommended that you pick a curriculum that you're really interested in and stick to it.

NOTE: Jumping around between different resources is the easiest way to get stuck without progressing!

Web Development Curriculums

  • The Odin Project - Highly-recommended, comprehensive full-stack development curriculum (has Ruby and JavaScript paths).
  • App Academy Open - App Academy's bootcamp full-stack curriculum accessible to the public.
