Random no starts in 250466 Motherboard.

I tracked the no starts to having both the HDMI and analog video cable connected.

My setup is a ASUS 24" hdmi/dvi/vga monitor, with the analog signal going thru a Extron 75C scaler to the vga input of the monitor.

Removing the analog cable lets the system boot everytime.

When you get a black screen, can you try resetting the 6502 by grounding the RESET pin temporarily? If you then get a blue screen of life, try this: At the top-left of the board there is a hole for a single pin labeled RST. If possible, can you try to connect that to the RESET pin of the 6502 and see if the blank screen persists? Use a pin grabber for the 6502 (if you have one) and you can either solder or just hold the end of the wire to the RST hole. This will hold the 6502 in reset until Kawari is ready. I'm curious if that makes a difference.

Resetting the machine after power on makes no difference.

I did also try hooking the reset line up to the kawari, and that made no difference either.

I have a logic probe, a 1054z scope, and a cheap usb 8 channel logic analyzer for tools.
