arduino-ffb-gui's Issues

I have a "manual" issue

Hi!
I have a problem firstly understanding the manual. It makes mention on changing stuff like ppr. But it never tells you HOW or WHERE.
And then im not able to configure mi pedals manually, only automatically.
Thanks.

Doubt

Hello, first of all congratulations for your project, I'm also doing my custom one for my cockpit with telemetry and other things, but I'm in the force feedback part and I'm using a library that leaves my entire arduino reading because it consumes a lot of processing, I saw that You left the files but I didn't quite understand which libraries you used to make the force feedback work on the Arduino and how I made it turn into a USB joystick

How to join you

I have some knowledge of USB HID, and I have made pedal Hub and game controller. I am very interested in force feedback steering wheel. Can I join you?

black screen gui

hello got this problem, black screen in wheel control, tried to create com_cfg with com number same result
tried to connect arduino leo to pc without usbhub, no luck
tried different firmware, no changes
noticed that wheel_control create a lot of javaw.exe after launch in task manager

License of Repo

Hi, I wanted to ask what is the license of repo you are planning to use?

setup

setup will now try to find control IO instances

Questions about the usage of GUI

Hello @ranenbg

Thank you for contributing to such an impressive project. I have successfully flashed Arduino-FFB-wheel to my Arduino, and everything is working fine now. But when I tried to use this GUI, I encountered some problems. I have tried various methods on my own, but none of them have provided a solution. I hope to receive your assistance and would be extremely grateful for it.

Let me explain my hardware setup first.
I am using an Arduino Leonardo board, and I have successfully flashed the firmware "brWheel_my.ino.leonardo_v220.hex" using XLoader. When I use WheelCheck.exe to check the hardware, it also responds successfully.

Then I started using this GUI software.
First, I followed the prompts to select the port and then chose my Arduino Leonardo development board.
Below are screenshots of the current steps.

1

This is a bit different from step three as described in the data/Wheel_control_step3.png,
but I believe it's an update to the previous UI, so I proceeded with the operation.

Next, I saw this interface, and it's where I got stuck.
I can't access the main interface as described in the README, no matter what I try.

2

From the UI, this interface seems to configure the functions of corresponding buttons through wiring.
However, no matter how I connect them, when I click the Verify button, I always receive an error message like 'VERIFY 30 errors found'.
Clicking the USE button is the same; it prompts 'SAVE - abandoned' and then there is no response.

The above is the complete description. I hope to receive your assistance.
Thank you.
