iTunesPlugIn is a sample to demonstrate how to make a visual plugin for iTunes on Mac OS X using Xcode as well as for Windows using Visual Studio 2013 Update 4.\par

To build the sample for iTunes 64-bit for Windows, build the solution for the x64 platform.\par
iTunes visual plug-in developers will need to ship both a 32-bit DLL and a 64-bit DLL, installing the appropriate DLL based on whether the user is running 32-bit iTunes.exe (on 32-bit Windows) or 64-bit iTunes.exe (iTunes 12.1 or later on 64-bit Windows).  Note that for versions of iTunes prior to iTunes 12.1 on 64-bit Windows, iTunes.exe is 32-bit, and so requires 32-bit visual plug-in DLLs.\par
