Major on-going hobby project incorporating multiple different technologies, languages and design methods. Aim is to provide a fully functional and interactive website for my fantasy football league, complete with user profiles, chat, league stats, football news etc.

Hobby project: Building a fully interactive website from scratch with database functionality.

  • Using HTML and CSS with Bootstrap 5 and JS + jQuery elements to build front-end.
  • Using SpringBoot to implement a Spring MVC architechture including JPA to control database related actions.
  • Using an Ubuntu Linux server hosted on AWS.
  • Using Docker to run images of a MySQL server as well as the SpringProject.
  • Using Jenkins for continuous implementation.
  • Created and installed an SSL certificate via Certbot & Let's Encrypt.
