Yeah that's right, so the outputs you are showing are dicts. The values look like strings but you will notice that they do not actually have quotes. They are actually objects that have a name and url attribute.

Okay, so let's say I want to reference a course's specific Sidebar element and the courses number is '12345', how would I do that?

has an attribute called course_id
, from there you use that course's section dict to like the_course_i_want.sections['my section']
