Data Entry Automation Project

This project aims to automate data entry tasks using Python and Excel manipulation libraries. Installation process is automated by bash script.

Installation

To set up the project environment, follow these steps:

1. clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/ravibalebilalu/data_entry.git

2. Run the install.sh script provided in the root directory:

   cd /data_entry

   ./install.sh

3. This script sets up a virtual environment, installs necessary packages from requirements.txt, and configures the environment.

Usage

Running the Data Entry Script

Execute the main data entry script using: "excel" comand.

Follow the on-screen instructions to create or read data from Excel files.

What can we do with this project?

1. Creating new Excel files with user-defined column names.

2. Reading data from existing Excel files.

3. Entering new data into the existing Excel file.
