Razor network Client

End user client for Razor network.

Installation

1.npm i
2.mv keys_sample.json keys.json
3. cp config-sample.json config.json
4. mkdir keys
5. add api keys in keys.json
6. create directory 'keys' 7. node index.js c <password>

Commands

Run the commands in following way:
node index.js <commands>
You can run following commands in CLI:\

-help See a list of available commands create <password> Creates a new wallet with given password. The wallets are stored in keys/ directory. WARNING: this is not a secure method of key generation, DO NOT use it for assets on mainnet.
Fund this account with rinkeby ether and rinkeby schells to start participating in the network.

stake <amount> <address> <password>
vote <address> <password>
unstake <address> <password>
withdraw <address> <password>
transfer <to> <amount> <from> <password>

<address> is the address of the wallet generated using create command.

cli's Issues

Add support for delegation

• Add CLI command to allow delegation
• Add functionality to delegate from API/frontend

Some functions are not exported from `api.js`

There are two functions, whose implementation is there in api.js but they are not exported from api.js.

These functions are:

• unstake
• withdraw

They have to be exported from module.exports

Unstake method doesn't check for the commit state

According to the smart contract, unstake can only be performed if the state is '0' or commit. But no such check is made from the cli end and the transaction is sent to the smart contract regardless of the state, which sometimes causes it to fail.

Modify API to return jobs that have non zero value

On razorscan.io, we have a EUR datafeed which is reporting 0 since the URL in the job is giving 404.

We need to add functionality to the API to return jobs that are reporting correct values.

blank wallet creation

sometimes a blank wallet is created. possibly due to not specifying infura key

Change provider to httpProvider in httpApi

`proposeAlt` method not found in the smart contracts

In the file api.js line number 477, the proposeAlt method from BlockManager.sol has been called, however, there is no such method in the block manager smart contract.

It must be replaced with appropriate method.

Increased State Length to 75 and decreased set Interval to Matic Block time

Currently the state length and set Interval time is set according to the goerli Blockchain. And it does not work properly with Matic Chain testnet.
Hence we need to change the state length and set interval according to Matic testnet

Change buffer for delayedState

Change the buffer from < 70%, > 0% to < 80%, > 20%

Implement auto re-connection when wss connection is lost.

Connection to infura is getting lost after some time. To fix this issue, listen for loss of connection and then reconnect so that razorscan.io doesn't go down.

Currently Goerli Addresses are in addresses.json

we need to replace the goerli addresses with the matic Addresses since we will be using Matic testnet

We are not actively developing javascript CLI. We need to archive it. @hrishikeshio

Use HTTP instead of websockets for vote

We are currently subscribing to websockets for new blocks. We need to move away from this as Web sockets keep disconnecting.

Replace Matic Addresses with Goerli Addresses

the master branch of CLI contains the addresses of contracts that are being deployed on the Matic network. But On the server, we are live on Goerli Network. Due to which server stopped working.

Dockerise node

Sleep module is not used in the entire repository

The sleep module is not needed anywhere. It should be removed from the package.json
