Let's Encrypt hook for DNS validation for OVH domains

Hello everyone,
This repository has been originally forked from kappataumu/letsencrypt-cloudflare-hook.
As the project has changed target (not the same provider), source code has been completely changed, and won't tend to be merged back to the original repository ; I deleted it and re-pushed it without the full Git history from Cloudflare hook.
Feel free to comment if you have questions ; or submit bugs if you find some.
Best regards,
Romain
Hello,
There is an issue with second level domain like *.asso.fr
, *.com.fr
, *.co.uk
, *.eu.org
....
For example for: monasso.asso.fr
The pattern doesn't match well and consider that the domain is asso.fr
and the subdomain monasso
, but, its wrong and for the ovh api, the domain is monasso.asso.fr
and the api report the error
ovh.exceptions.ResourceNotFoundError: This service does not exist
Best regards
I am trying to investigate a timeout issue at the "waiting for DNS refresh" phase.
I tried to specify a debug log level in the dehydrated config file as specified in the doc:
HOOK=/usr/bin/dehydrated-hooks/ovh/hook.py --level=debug
but the latter part is interpreted as a command and not found:
/etc/dehydrated/config: line 30: --level=debug: command not found
If I use quotes around the whole value, as such:
HOOK="/usr/bin/dehydrated-hooks/ovh/hook.py --level=debug"
I get another error, which shows that dehydrated expects HOOK to be an executable without flags:
/usr/bin/dehydrated: line 91: /usr/bin/dehydrated-hooks/ovh/hook.py --level=debug: No such file or directory
How do I pass the --level=debug flag?
Hello,
current version of dehydrated (0.7.0) and hook.py (master) not working very well with ovh module from requirements.txt. Please update required ovh module version to 1.1.0.
Regards!
Hello,
dehydrated supports ACME v2, through which you can now request a wildcard cert.
When trying this, I believe the hook.py does not know how to handle *.domain.tld
I'm getting:
root@webserver:~# dehydrated -c -d domain.co.za -d "*.domain.co.za" --alias domain-alias -t dns-01 -k "/root/letsencrypt-ovh-hook/hook.py"
# INFO: Using main config file /etc/dehydrated/config
