Check which versions of tornado are compatible

Check which versions of tornado it works with so we can provide minimum versions of dependencies

Installer Script

Create simple bash script that checks dependencies and installs them if they're not there

Add settings menu to web interface

Allow changing of setting's from the web interface

Download playing song

Allow users (optionally) to download either the song that's currently playing, or select one from the playlist / search results.

Implement client side playlist building

Currently need to use an mtp client to build playlists, need to let web users browse library and add tracks / albums etc.

Add ability to upload files to the rpi, and automatically add them to the library

maybe use fineuploader to manage drag/drop interactions for file upload.

Add support for password protected mpd servers

Add setting for username / password

Check that mpd is installed in installation script

Check that mpd is installed when checking Python dependencies. Can ask user if they want to install it automagically.

Could try detecting package manager and running relevant command to install, or just blindly assume Debian based (raspbian) and just force apt-get

Enhanced Upload options

Need to be checking that file type is allowed (is one of the allowed extensions), and also add the ability to turn uploads off in the settings.
