Would it be possible to open multiple panels instead of the masonry view, similar to how Obsidian works? Having pages on a grid is a little easier to organize than how fluid the masonry mode tends to be.
please add a feature in the roamStudio settings page to disable auto pairing of brackets etc. in roam,
I searched the whole internet and found nothing.
This would help a lot please consider.
thanks
Sidebar, Filter, etc.
Hi,
I rarely am able to use the commands for creating or updating a workspace. When I select these options from the command palette, nothing happens.
I've taken to updating my workspaces manually on the Workspace Configuration page. Activating workspaces works fine! Not sure what's going on, but I love the extension so appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Alex
The page link underline when set to light dotted is either too light or not there suddenly with the latest release.

Roam Toolbar extension works normally when Roam Studio is disabled, but it looks weird if Roam Studio is enabled and there is a text under the highlighted passage.
I've added screenshots to illustrate the problem. Hope you can fix it so we use this small but great extension without issues.
I love the Craft theme!
I found, however, the left sidebar to be my anchor into Roam and changes there are highly disruptive 🤷 . So after spending a couple of hours trying to find all the knobs and values to return it back to its original state while keeping everything else as RoamStudio provides it, I thought of asking here in the hopes that perhaps it's easier to "not apply" the change in the first place than it is to try to undo it.
I'm happy to take hacky workarounds in the meantime or if you decide this is not worth your while. Any suggestions?
Hi
I am a subscriber of Roam Research.
Adnan from chat support suggested that I contact you regarding the below issue, as a 'bug'?
I am using the memo extension along with the Roam Studio extension.
The dark themes seem to not work with some of the elements of the Memo.
So in particular, it is difficult to read the deck names in the dropdown menu, because the background and font color are nearly the same color. I tested all my settings in all extensions that deal with themes and coloring. I found nothing strange. But I do think I was able to isolate the problem to one setting that is causing the problem. These screenshots show the problem well:
( I happen to use the "Things" theme, and that is the theme that is affected most by the issue )
Could you please take a look?
Thank you
Chris
Hey! Firstly thank for the work you do, it's much appreciated!
I don't know if this is a bug, feature, or to-be-implemented function.
I spent some time trying to figure out why none of my page links were updating in styling when I changed the settings, and then realised it's because pretty much all of my pages use namespaces.
It seems that anything with a namespace gets treated differently and has an underline, but I don't see anywhere to adjust the settings for this separately.
It's worth noting that this only happens when in your settings you have it set to not show the namespaces - when you set it to display in full this issue does not arise.
Ideally I'd like it to just be treated the same as un-namespaced pages or have comparable settings that I can update.
Thanks,
Chris
First of all, thank you for Roam Studio! This plugin is fantastic! The one issue I've ran into is only present on mobile (iPad in this case). As you can see in the screenshot below, the top and bottom bars do not have the theme applied as the rest of the Roam window which makes for a rather jarring experience when dark mode is enabled.
For me, I feel like it is slighlity wide gap between lines.
I wish I can adjust margins between bullets, like text size.
Thanks for amazing, beatiful themes.
I find it useful and I miss it but if there is a better way to achieve the same, that's also fine.
These are a very personal thing - some people want to see that something is a block reference more clearly, some less so. It depends on how one uses them. Can you consider a feature where those can be customized?
Some common preferences include the type and thickness of underlines; changed fonts or font styles; and prepending icons or markings (one of the most interesting I've personally seen was a particularly large set of quote marks, but I was never able to get that to work.)
Every time I close and reopen the application, the external link color settings that I previously set get reset to default. Will be glad if you fix this annoying issue.
The down arrow key progresses to the end of the last character in a block, rather than the block below. The up arrow key, however, progresses to the block above. The only way to navigate by keyboard to the block below is to go to the end of the block and press the right arrow key.
This behavior is only seen when RoamStudio is turned on.
Screenshots won't really help, but see attached: ability to progress to next block, or not.
I'm on a Mac, using the Roam desktop app.
Thanks for reviewing this!
Maybe it's out of scope for RoamStudio, but I've been looking for a straightforward way to highlight a block with English language color codes (i.e., red, blue, green, etc.) and/or assign colors to tags. The use case would be a straightforward way to see items as in progress, complete, blocked, and the like.
The combination of the Quattro theme for Roam Studio combined with the reference path extension (https://github.com/paulovieira/roam-reference-path) looks a bit weird as shown in the screenshot. Maybe something I can change in the options of that plugin?
Masonry is the type of thing that is sometimes incredibly useful, and sometimes annoying - and whose use might depend on the size screen one is using at the moment.
Can you consider adding a toggle button at the top of the sidebar?
This seems to be a similar issue like #37
Suggestion to add the possibility of user customization for external (page) links. To have a different color and/or style for internal versus external links. Referring to links e.g., URLs to external pages using ... versus internal page links with double brackets [[...]].
